The Cathedral is a partner in a joint project with the Christian churches in the West End of Newcastle called CHAT (CHurches Acting Together). At the heart of the project is a 'drop in' Day Centre in Philip Street, Arthur's Hill, which is well-funded, professionally managed and used by many people of all religions and none in the area.
