The City Centre Chaplaincy was established in 1976 as a charitable trust to support and encourage all people who live and work in the city. Situated at St. Andrew's Church, Newgate Street, the Chaplaincy is ecumenical and welcome both church-goers and non-church-going individuals.

Work includes organising lunch-time addresses during lent and throughout the year at St. Andrew's Church, organising lunchtime discussion groups for workers in the City Centre and evening discussions on a range of spiritual, moral and ethical subject.
