For many years now, the Sisters of St Anne's Convent have run a day centre/luncheon club at their Convent in Summerhill Grove. The club is open 10am - 4pm Monday to Thursday. Coffee is served on arrival followed by a three-course lunch at noon and afternoon tea at 2.45pm. There is plenty of time in between to chat and have a game of bingo. Occasionally, day outings are organised. Mass is also celebrated from time to time.

This very worthwhile activity relies on the hard work and dedication of several voluntary helpers as well as the generous support of the Community at St Anne's.

Also, the Chatterbox meets on the first Friday of every month between 1.30pm and 3.30pm. This seeks to raise funds for the Third World.
