The Catholic Chaplaincy seeks
to offer pastoral and spiritual support to students and staff of Newcastle
University, the University of Northumbria at Newcastle and Newcastle
College. It is based at 14 Windsor Terrace, Jesmond and can be used for
prayer during the day. Chaplains are also available if people wish to
speak to them privately.

The programme of Masses and services shown apply during term
time, but outside term time you are advised to check
with the chaplains for Mass times.
Catholic Society
The Catholic Society (CathSoc)
works with the chaplains to provide social events for members. The society
is open to all students and organises a variety of events, including
bowling, theatre trips and weekends away. The facilities of the chaplaincy
include a library/quiet room and a bar.
