The Walking Group meets once a month thoughout the year. Walks usually take place on Sundays, but occasional weekend forays are arranged. Most walks take place in Northumberland, Durham, Weardale or North Yorkshire. The walks vary in the distance covered and the types of terrain visited, so there is generally something for everyone. Details of the monthly walk are published in the Cathedral newsletter.
