On the evening of 1st February Bishop Lindsay's body was received
into St Mary's Cathedral with the celebration of Mass.
Bishop Ambrose Griffiths at the Reception of the Body into St Mary's Cathedral
Many priests from throughout the diocese and beyond joined together with
Principal Celebrant Bishop Ambrose Griffiths to concelebrate this Mass of
Reception into the Cathedral. The homily was given by Fr Ian Patterson.
After the Mass the Litany of the Saints was sung and there followed a period
of quiet prayer finishing with Compline.
