Reception of Body

Bishop Lindsay's body will be received into St Mary's Cathedral, Newcastle upon Tyne, on Sunday 1st February 2009 at 6.30 pm with the celebration of Mass, followed by a vigil of quiet prayer ending with Compline at 8.30 pm

Requiem Mass

Bishop Lindsay's Requiem Mass will be celebrated by Cardinal Cormac Murphy O'Connor at St Mary's Cathedral, Newcastle upon Tyne, on Monday 2nd February 2009 at 12.00 noon. Burial will follow immediately in the Cathedral Crypt.

The Mass on Sunday evening, Compline and the Requiem Mass are open to all people who may wish to attend.
